Warming Centers or community members can contact Mount Carmel Outreach Program for follow‐up with someone you are concerned about who is outside this winter, or at a daytime warming center and needs additional support. Anyone in need of emergency shelter can call the Homeless Hotline at 614-274-7000; there is no need to contact Mount Carmel prior to calling the Hotline. If there are no beds available at the time of the call to the Homeless Hotline, they will direct someone to the closest 24 hour Warming Center—from there staff will assist with triage for overnight options. Everyone will be accommodated to ensure no one is outside during these dangerous conditions.
All five (5) of the warming stations below are open until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2025:

With temperatures in the metro Columbus area not expected to warm up until early next week, Southeast Healthcare encourages you to post or share the Winter Warming Centers available to those in need of a place to get warm.
Branches of the Columbus Public Library and Columbus Recreation and Parks Centers are open throughout business hours to help during colder weather, but a few Warming Centers are open 24 hours daily, which are highlighted in yellow below. Warming centers are open no through March 31, 2025.
The Community Shelter Board provides the Winter Warming Centers. For anyone in need of shelter, please call (614) 274-7000. There is also a Food Line to call for those needing a hot meal from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. It can be reached at (614) 341-2282.
